We set it all up
Our technician handles all the pairing, app configuration, and automation setup. If you want Google Home, we do Google Home. Apple HomeKit, Alexa — whichever platform suits you, we'll build it properly.
We show you how to use it
A smart home is only useful if you actually use it. Before we leave, we walk you through the app, show you the automations we set up, and make sure you're comfortable controlling everything — including the voice commands if you want them.
Worth Knowing Before You Book
Do I need to buy all new devices, or can you work with what I have?
We start with what you already have. Most existing appliances (AC units, lamps, kitchen appliances) can be made 'smart' with a smart plug or IR blaster — no new hardware needed. We'll check what's worth upgrading and what isn't.
Will smart devices work with my current WiFi router?
In most cases, yes. Smart devices use 2.4GHz WiFi, which all modern routers support. We'll verify compatibility before recommending anything. If your router is very old or the signal is weak in certain rooms, we'll sort that first.
What if my WiFi signal is patchy in some rooms?
Smart devices need a stable connection to work reliably. If signal is an issue, we'd recommend sorting the WiFi first — we can do that in the same visit if needed. It's better to fix the foundation than stack smart devices on a shaky network.
Which platform is best — Google Home, Alexa, or Apple HomeKit?
Honestly, it mostly depends on what phones and devices you already use. iPhone house? HomeKit is sleek and private. Android and Google speakers? Google Home is the smoothest experience. Mixed household? Google Home tends to be the most flexible. We'll give you a straight recommendation once we know what you have.
Can you set up automation routines, not just control things manually?
Yes — automations are the best part. Things like: all lights off and AC down when everyone leaves, bedroom lights gradually dimming at 10pm, front door lights turning on at sunset. We set these up as part of every smart home visit.
